23-04-2015 Miguel Queen Letizia and King Felipe attend the Cervantes Prize event at the University of Alcalá. The award went to Spanish writer, Juan Goytisolo Gay.
“Miguel de Cervantes” award recognizes the creative work of Spanish and Latin American writers and is award by the Ministry of Education.
Born to an aristocratic family, Goytisolo published his first novel, The Young Assassins, in 1954 after studying laws. His deep opposition to Francisco Franco led him into exile in Paris in 1956
